“Supergurl X: Defeated” From FightGirlz2000

SuperGurl X: Defeated stars Carmen Porta, maybe FightGirlz most popular performer ever, and Whitney Rose, a newer casting who FightGirlz fans really seem to love

In this tenth episode of our popular SuperGurl series, things go from bad to worse for our superheroine.

After defeating Taryn Jinn in Episode 9, SuperGurl is confronted by Sarin Mau, who has been dispatched by Taryn to seek revenge by re-capturing Supergurl and returning her to their alien ship. Determined not to be re-captured, SuperGurl draws on all of her skill, strength and experience to vanquish her attacker. But will it be enough?

Once again, we see some awsome strength feats by Whitney – including another lengthly, incredible full-body throatlift – some great combat choreography, intense action, and more.

Once again, we see some awesome strength feats by Whitney – including another lengthly, incredible full-body throatlift – some great combat choreography, intense action, and more.

The film begins with a rehash of what has come before and when the action begins in earnest, each character is depowered by the other via some kind of power sucking ray gun. What follows is a very physical and well done fight scene much in the normal FightGirlz style.

It’s a video where one character is almost always in complete control for a time until the momentum swings the other way and the other character takes over.

Stomach punches, face punches and kicks make up the vast majority of the action, although there are wrestling holds throughout. Carmen puts Whitney in leg scissors, while Whitney lifts Carmen in a bearhug and a long two-handed throat lift.

Close to the end of the film they start to stand toe-to-toe delivering haymakers, an exchange that SuperGurl ends up taking advantage of and landing several knee lifts. However, Whitney is soon able to reclaim her powers and SuperGurl’s defeat is pretty academic at that point.

The film ends with Whitney as the victor, SuperGurl unconscious, and being lifted over Whitney’s shoulder before both teleport away.

This is a film I enjoyed and I imagine if you have liked any of the other nine previous episodes you’ll like this one. As always, Carmen does terrific work and judging by some comments I’ve read, fans have really taken to Whitney Rose who is a talented girl with a great look about her. I look forward to seeing more of her.
