I’ve been in SL for a few years, and enjoyed watching Rye’s demon playing with Supergirl in Mean Streets. If anyone needs help getting set up with their avatar, learning how the viewer works (I also use Firestorm) or the basics of online roleplay, shoot me a message in-world. My account name is Varsaktis, and you’ll see one of my characters hanging around Mean Streets at night most nights (11PM-3 or 4AM Eastern).

https://secondlife.com The client is free but to get your characters looking that good will cost money and research. There are several groups dedicated to superheroines in peril roleplay as well.
The Role playing you saw in these clips was very tame compared to what goes on in some places. A lot of RP’s are quite adult with nudity and all the bits and pieces that go along with it. Yep the client is free, although we use Firestorm instead of the stock client, but its also free. I spent about 35 on my Demon, and Carly spent about the same on Superiorgirl. I have a few different monster looks. 🙂 I’ve also been to Mean Streets RP sim though it has been quite awhile. I’ve also heard people talk about Celestial City (I think that’s the name.) Black Haven was another sim though that shut down almost a year ago. https://www.meanstreetsrp.net/ (Link to the sim’s website) Firestorm is probably the most popular viewer for SL. Celestial City is a large-ish build with a fairly active sim-wide storyline involving superhero/ine v villain play.
There’s a new “Gotham” sim called “The East End” for people who want to play a canon character, too… seems they have several openings left for major figures from the DC world, though they’re keeping it limited to the lower-powered types. Small-ish, but a nice build. Dunno if they’re in for the erotic stuff, though.
