Anastasia Rose has just completed her training at the PALADIN counter-terrorism agency and is keen to start fighting the bad guys. She’s practicing her moves at the safe house she’s been assigned to when rogue agent Kim Chi sneaks in and confronts her. Anastasia doesn’t know who she is at first, but Kim reveals she has defected to the criminal organisation MEDUSA. Anastasia realizes this is an opportunity to prove herself.

She blocks an exploratory jab and kick from Kim and ducks under a looping hook before catching her with a straight counter. Kim tells her she hits like a girl, to which Anastasia replies that she is a girl, before blocking and trapping Kim’s next attack and delivering another straight right to her face.

Frustrated, Kim draws a knife, but Anastasia slips a downward slash and blocks Kim’s follow-up, before trapping the knife. Kim takes advantage by launching a series of vicious body shots, but Anastasia weathers the punishment and twists Kim’s wrist, making her drop the knife.

Anastasia is able to kick the knife out of reach, but Kim catches her with a hook, stunning her. Kim then takes her time pummelling Anastasia with a series of heavy punches, but she recovers and stuns Kim with vicious hook of her own. With Kim out on her feet, Anastasia moves behind her and applies a bear hug till Kim loses consciousness…

… or so it seems. As Anastasia plays with her limp body, Kim’s eyes snap open and she stamps on Anastasia’s foot with her stiletto heel, then turns and stuns Anastasia with a massive hook of her own. She takes out a chloroform pad, and clamps it over Anastasia’s mouth. Her eyes roll back as she slips into unconsciousness.

Now it’s Kim’s turn to play with the limp Anastasia. But she’s isn’t finished with her. She wakes Anastasia up and delivers a series of cruel hammer fists to her stomach, then follows up with a belly claw and a nerve pinch to her neck. Not satisfied, she drags Anastasia up by the hair and thrusts her knee up into her solar plexus. Anastasia sinks to her knees, now defenceless. Kim pushes her over with her foot, then straddles her, clamps her hands around her throat and chokes her into oblivion.
