Just perfect fusion. That’s what I think of Kandy Crisis #7. Just all the best elements about my three favorite ongoing productions coming together in one film. The M/F action aspect of KAK, the F/F action aspect of KAF, and the peril and action aspect of NGC. Oh, and really well done comedic bits that you see in both productions. Especially a fourth wall breaking moment early on that I found particularly hilarious.

When the film opens up, Kix and Vix are ready for their opponents. Armed with a crowbar, chloroform, two tranquilizer darts, and some rope and chain, they are tasked with taking on two of Hitwoman’s strongest underlings. One, a big brute of a goon, the other, a six foot blonde much in the vein of HW herself.

After a bit of trash talk between the two, Kix strikes with the crowbar which just bounces off the male goons chest. He takes the crowbar, smacks Kix in her face with it, then bends the crowbar with ease. Vixen hits him with two punches that he largely ignores and he tosses Vixen to the other side of the room. This is when the fights break off into two individual matches. Kix vs the blonde and Vixen vs the Goon.

Kix is hit with several stomach punches by the blonde before she can strike back with some shots of her own. The blonde dodges a kick and claws at Kix’s face, blinding the Kandygirl. This leaves Kix completely vulnerable as she is hit with face punches that knock her to the ground. Kix, still blinded, attempts to crawl away, but the blonde puts her in ankle lock hold for a good long while and Kix writhes in pain. The blonde finds the chloroform rag Kix intended to use, takes it out, pulls Kix up by her hair, and slaps it over Kix’s mouth until she falls unconscious.

Meanwhile, Vixen hits some shots that shake the male goon a bit, but he hits a stomach punch and picks her up in a long bearhug. The goon drops her to her feet and lands a punch that sends her flying onto a nearby couch. Vixen starts to crawl away but is stopped by a hard kick to her stomach. The goon then wrenches her head back while pulling her legs forward which leaves Vixen in a world of pain. He lets Vixen up, grabs her by the throat, and lifts her in a two-handed choke hold. Vixen breaks the hold with a punch but her follow up attack is blocked and the goon crushes Vixen’s fist, forcing her to her knees.

The goon holds Vixen in a one-handed strangle hold while the blonde comes over and grabs Vixen’s chloroform rag out of her boot. She begins to use it on Vixen, but the male goon wants to keep things physical. While the blonde holds Vixen, the goon lands eight straight stomach punches and two face punches to the helpless Kandygirl.

The blonde notices that Kix is starting to awaken, so a barely conscious Vixen is tossed aside and the male goon states that he wants a part of Kix. Meanwhile, Vixen has regained her faculties enough to throw at dart at the blonde, but through sheer bad luck, she misses. And this is when we have a fight partner switch.

Vixen gets the better of the blonde early on when she drops her to the ground with several kicks. But she misses a kick and gets a punch in the back of her leg. The two tall blondes exchange some blows and lock in a relatively even test of strength before the blonde hits a kick to Vixen’s side. She follows that up with punches to Vixen’s side and back before putting Vixen in another bearhug. Vixen breaks the hold with a chop and drops the blonde to the ground with a series of punches and kicks.

Kix breaks out of a one-handed choke hold and rocks the male goon with several blows of her own. They lock on simultaneous strangle holds but Kix makes the mistake of going for a headbutt that hurts her more than the goon. The goon hits her with another headbutt and then grabs Kix in a bearhug. He drops her to the ground and tells Kix to give him her best shot. She reaches into her boot, grabs her dart, and throws it at the goon who barely dodges it in time. And then the dart lodges right into Vixen’s butt as she was in the act of hammering down the blonde minion.

In a few seconds, Vixen falls to the ground unconscious and Kix is left to defend herself against both of Hitwoman’s minions. The evil duo quickly take control as the goon hoists Kix up by her arms which lets the female minion hit several stomach punches. They then switch roles and the blonde holds Kix while the male goon hits stomach punch after stomach punch.

The goon then cradle carries Kix, places her on the bar, and delivers more stomach punches and a claw hold. He then strangles Kix and squeezes her in a reverse bearhug. He then passes Kix to the blonde and watches as she nails Kix with stomach punches unabated.

And that’s where we have to put an end to the spoilers. But before signing off I wanted to mention two things.

1. The people behind the camera really deserve credit in how they highlighted the perilous moments of the fight. When Kix and Vix are in real trouble, they are in real trouble at the same time and this was directed/edited to highlight those moments. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen it done so well. They make really nice cuts between the two Kandygirls when they are in their worst moments. Just a really well done production job that I wanted to point out.

2. As always, a ton of credit also needs to go to the actors. The new six foot blonde is a keeper. A really strong actress that I liked immediately. And the male goon did a really good job of playing the aggressor, a different role for him, as he can usually be seen getting his ass-kicked on a regular basis in the KAK universe.

I’ve mentioned a few million times that Kix is my favorite actress, and her incredible work in every series that she’s involved in is top notch. Since KAK has expanded to KAF and KC, she’s had to show more range than ever, and has done so brilliantly. And I’m running out of reasons not to consider Vixen the top peril actress we cover. I know a lot of big names are in competition for that title, but she sells being on the bad side of a beatdown so incredibly well. Watch her carefully in this and see an absolute virtuoso at work. I think she’s that good. A lot of fans really discovered Vixen in Episode 2 of this series, so if you haven’t seen that yet, I would recommend you do.

This series has just gotten better and represents everything I like to see in these films. Just an amazing array of good girls fighting for all their worth against overwhelming odds and incredibly powerful opponents. This has become my favorite episode of the series. For the record, I rate them as follows. 7, 6, 2, 4, 1, 3, 5. Going forward, I have no clue how this is going to shake out. Hitwoman has been out of sight for a while but we know she has people of her own now. Could other Kandygirls get pulled into the action? Are we setting up for a huge final throw down? I can’t wait to find out.
