I’ve long been an advocate of Alex Bettinger producing more hardcore content, whether it be hardcore G/G on XCW or hardcore SHIP, such as the clip with Cherie DeVille and Tommy Pistol, but I have to say that I’m disappointed to see a mix of hardcore and softcore in this clip. Great news about the hoped for schedule of one XCW episode plus either a IEW or Superheroine World per month. As an XCW fan my perception was that not only were episodes becoming shorter they were becoming less frequent. Back in the day there seemed to be more then one match per episode. There is an issue of how separate IEW is from XCW regarding any possible story lines. There many XCW wrestlers I would like to see participate in an IEW match. My initial thinking is they should do so as a new character. Others have commented how this would enable those performing as XCW heels suffer defeat in IEW without damaging their XCW gimmick/storyline and I think this is right. Oh, I agree with this: probably for the most part the characters will all be new, but from time to time it will definitely be fun to see an XCW character in the IEW!
A number of those contributing to discussion on the episode have talked about having the lone brave female wrestler facing more then one male opponent and I would support this. I have always liked matches where our heroine is handicapped and disadvantaged in some way and being outnumbered by brutal opponents is an ideal handicap. I am not in the business but understand that quality female performers can command higher fees then quality male performers and if that is so Alex can maintain the quality and up the numbers of the opposition whilst holding his prices and from his point… Read more »
I really like the new direction and it was the first XCW video I bought in a long time. I’m happy with the purchase but one thing was a big disappointment for me: she stayed clothed for the entire wrestling portion of the match. What I’ve come to expect from XCW is for the clothes to be removed fairly early on and the wrestling attacks continue on a topless or naked opponent. Here Christy was fully clothed until just before the pin.
Just my 2 cents from watching the preview: At first I wasn’t too impressed until I saw the hardcore porn. Now I am very interested in this series. Also, I have mixed feelings about all new female characters. Part of me wants the same XCW girls to experience a whole new level of abuse. Just bought it and thought it was great! Christie is the star of the show obviously as she is smokin’ hot and sells the blows and peril with great facial expressions, but Tommy Pistol as Gen. Slaughter is not far behind. He played the heel very well and acted similar to an Attitude Era WWF heel, taunting the crowd and using dirty techniques to pull off the win. To each his own, but I think male vs female is a refreshing start from XCW. to be honest the story/actions were getting a little dull for me.
I think it’s good to mix things up about and I love the hardcore element here. That said I think expanding the XCW & superheroine world world with more hardcore scenes would be preferable to me.

I have no problem with this series as extra, but hate to see a month wasted with no new xcw! Many other sites out there with mixed interaction but there is no equal to the female-female interaction of xcw.
