“The Ex-Wife” from FightGirlz2000
So, just the other day we received an e-mail from one of our readers with a request. And that request was to do a post/review for a custom order of his that was done in conjunction with the good people over at FightGirlz2000.
And this is something we’re always happy to do, and I hope this starts a trend. Custom videos have become a huge part of this genre, and honestly, depending on the producer, they generally come at a rather steep price. And I always find it interesting to hear from people who have commissioned customs about what their experience was like given the cost incurred. I’ve come to think of it as a public service to other fans who may be considering buying a custom of their own.
Through the years in the comments section we’ve had good reports and bad ones for some of our most popular producers. So, if you ever want us to take a look at one or describe your experiences with any producer, let us know. Heck, I did it once.
The reader who commissioned The Ex-Wife never identified himself by his screen name, so if you’re out there my friend, feel free to tell us about your experience. Here’s a little synopsis:
In this custom-ordered video, an ex-wife arrives at the home of her former husband and new girlfriend with a single purpose in mind: To get the deed to the property signed over to her. The girlfriend doesn’t take kindly to the attitude of her unwelcomed guest and decides to toss the diminutive diva out on her butt. But this is no ordinary ex-wife, and she quickly proves that “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” is not an unfounded claim.
Starring Gia Diablo and Carmen Porta, the film itself is different in an interesting way. If you know the actresses in the film, you know Gia is a heavily muscled woman. Carmen on the other hand is quite fit, but also rather petite. On paper it’s a physical mismatch in every way possible. And from beginning to end, the diminutive Carmen absolutely tears Gia apart. Kandy Crisis in reverse is probably the best way I can explain it.
The action does take a little while to ramp up. It’s about a 19 minute film and the first punch thrown doesn’t occur until after the 7 minute mark. After being knocked over a table by a Carmen punch, Gia strikes back but none of her attacks really hurt Carmen. And then for the next 10 or so minutes, Carmen takes Gia apart. It’s a punch heavy beatdown with dozens and dozens of face punches and a decent mix of stomach blows. Carmen also easily lifts Gia off the floor with a two-handed throat lift. Gia briefly takes back the advantage after striking Carmen with a piece of wood, but Carmen quickly recovers and slaps on leg scissors and a choke hold. After that, the rest of the film is an easy beatdown of Gia.
So we get an interesting twist here on a popular formula and it was done rather well. If you have any interest in seeing a smaller female combatant just ripping up a larger “Amazon” opponent, “The Ex-Wife” should be perfect for you.

So i bought the film on the strength of the review as well as the trailer. As this was a custom film it is difficult to make constructive criticisms as I do not know what was specified by the individual ordering the film. Nevertheless, it is a cute story which could actually be a real life situation. Both actresses showed good acting abilities and combat moves. Gia’s reactions to being hit were great. Overall the combat choreography was pretty good, however, when the camera was focussing on Gina’s back and while she was being pummelled by Carmen, the blows did… Read more »
Pretty cool. This could be a real life situation except for the fact that no one would be arrested.
I love the idea of a smaller villain getting the best of a bigger heroine, and Gia does look awesome selling the beating. Always like a scenario where the superheroine’s best efforts are ineffective against the smaller villain then in a desperation attempt “powers up” but is perplexed that she still can’t do anything against someone who she, on paper, should defeat easily. Anyway, looking to pick this up soon.
I’m not going to lie, I’ve bought EVERY video with Gia Diablo getting beaten down, and I’m hoping there are more coming. She is AWESOME at selling the “beating”, and the visual of someone who should NOT lose actually losing is why I like this genre in the first place. Highly recommended if you haven’t checked any of these videos out.
